Generally, our first visual production element is a newly designed website concept based on the web design workshop. The concept is a graphical representation of what the new homepage (and inner pages) of your website or application will look like. Variations upon this theme will be provided if necessary and once this is signed off by the client, the site or application can be put into html and flash production. Now all the graphical elements for the project as well as any other media supplied is integrated.
All of our clients are provided with access to our Continuous project management website portal to track the progress at each stage of the project lifecycle. This portal also provides a repository for all project documentation and maintains a stage indicator to let the client know the exact status of the project stage.
The website structure is then implemented based on the agreed deliverables from the workshop and placeholder text is implemented until the content is prepared by the client. At this stage other factors such as keywords for search engine
optimisation and agreed usability and accessibility standards are also implemented.
The key deliverables of the production phase includes the following:
-
All website concepts
-
Website Architecture (with content)
-
Keywords and meta tags
-
All additional media i.e. Flash development
